A asteroid impact in 2012?

I keep hearing more and more. Has anyone else heard this? From what I hear, asia is already sending out probes to study this asteroid, which is 3 times bigger than the one that killed off the dinosaurs. Links or more info would be good.

I don't know about that, but I don't think we are sure that an asteriod is what killed the dinos, and moreover, that 2012 date has been full of ELE conspiracy theories for as long as I can remember...And of course, you know we love to think that we have "been there and done that" for every important mythical discussion... :
