I wasn't too gassed about it at first, but I think that I've warmed up to it more and more...I hope that they do a Batman Begins type of story and get a good start...At least try to find something about Superman that we don't all know...Maybe show life on Krypton, and how Superman is how he is in the first place...

THEY SHOULD MAKE HIM HAVE BLACK SKIN.
It makes no sense for him to have a solar responsive pigment in his flesh, when our yellow sun is supposedly alien to him.
however, he should have straight hair (if any at all), as he doesn't have genetic stock to have thick coarse hair to protect his brain from scorching heat. He also doesn't need flared nostrils or pronounced nostrils for increased oxygen flow and hydration from genetic stock traversing the plains of Africa.
