The Age of Men

A school of music that studies the rhythm of nature, a school of fashion that studies the elegance of the Universe, a school of design that studies the architecture of the ancients, a school of philosophy that studies the time-tested Truth.

The ancient Greeks taught that upon death you were shown the waters of the River Lethe to drink from, which caused you to forget all of your life, before you rode the River styx. There your entire self would be dissolved into the raw of essence of life, and you would re-enter the world with a blank slate, as an infant. But there was also a hidden River, called Mnemosyne (Preserve the Mind), which if you drank from, you would re-enter life as an infant, but retain all the wisdom and knowledge of your former self. However, you would have to learn how to conceal it until the time is right, or the fates would seek to end your life. This was done so, through special symbols, words, and formulas - called "mnemomics." These are the basis of religious teachings. When the baptizo (immersion) occured the adherent would emerge with a complete knowledge of his Immortal self, and be capable of great wonders, the origin of the ritual of Baptism, and is incorporated in the Greek influence on the story of Iesu being baptised, and then suddenly the whole game changes as the dove descends and the messiach is fulfilled.

The Greek word for Truth is "Alatheia", literally "un-forgotten". Thus, the Truth is the unforgotten wisdom and knowledge of your Infinite Nature.

I say "zakar ha-Aemeth." This is the oldest way of expressing the words:

Remember The Truth.

technically speaking, not for those who drink of Mnemosyne.

Death is not the end of the self, in their case, but a permutation of their spiritual essence into another.

now, pm me, and ask me if it works (or how i know this...)

if you dare,

Man...

I'm going to meditate and digest that "Mnemosyne" explanation...That rung a bell to me, and I'm not sure that it should have...
