Hmm.....everyone?
I love draft day....I'm more curious as to where VY will go than those two....and of course to see if any good DB's will fall to the bears....or if we can get UCLA's TE.....
I love watching the highlight reels of all the players who i've never heard of as well......making them look dominate as hell..

i thought Ricky Williams was going to be God's Gift to the NFL......
but, uh.......no.
these guys get to the NFL...and they heart just ain't in it anymore...
i've always thought the rediculous amount of money these guys get paid...should be given to them after they retire...
...at least they'd still have something to work for...

Ricky Williams was pretty damn good in the NFL TD....
VY could be a bust.....the likeliness of it is high considering his awkward throwing motion...the fact that he only worked out of the shotgun at texas...and that he's relied more on his speed than his throwing.....but from what I watched of him...he's got a good accurate arm for the most part...and with some good coaching and time...I think he'll be a good pro.
and don't use Ricky Williams as your key example for waht the NFL player is like.....he's an extreme case of didn't give a shit....and he'll be losing millions because of that......there are plenty guys who go out there and work for their money......shit think of the guys who don't get their name called every other play.....not the pretty boy QB's....or the WR's who get tackled only as many times as they catch the ball.......but the linemen...O and D.....the Linebackers and TE's who really only get their name called if they make a great play......they go to work every single day and grind it out for years and years because they love the game. They earn their money.... the running backs who get tackled pretty much everysingle play....pass or run.....the punishment they take every sunday is ridiculous....not to mention they're putting their body, and maybe even life, on the line everytime they get the ball pushed into their stomach and gotta find a hole....
Money isn't gaurnteed in the NFL in the first place....and you're purposing to say...you dont get none of this unitl you retire?
I doubt any player would put up with that kinda punishment if they couldnt go back and relax in their 3 square mile pool....or be able to take their custom built elevator up and down floors in their house because their knees ache too much to go up and down stairs.
Football careers average the shortest...and take argueably the most punishment....they deserve every penny they earn in comparsion to other sports athletes (not to mention the NFL makes the most money by a long shot)...regardless of whether or not one or even 10 guys on a team's hearts aren't in it.

he was someone i expected to be the best...but turned out to be a bust IMO...
sure...he had a couple nice 1200/1300/1800 yard seasons...but he should have had plenty of those and then some by now...

It's always been that way.....you want to watch the most exciting games...you watch college...where no one is getting paid and most aren't going to play ever again on any other level.....they play cause they love it...and they want to win not to get a bonus...but for pride...
