Two words.....garage sales. Its amazing the good quality stuff you can find. From pots and pans to furnature theres nothing you wont eventually come across. My dad got a set of 5 pots for 40 bucks and none of them alone was worth less than 45. Most of the art work i have on my walls is from garage sales

http://www.epicurious.com/.........best cooking site around. Pick a dish your into and they not only give you tons of recipies for it they also have lots of reader reviews that rate the recepie and suggest alterations.

Dude, I'm set for shit to hang on the walls. lol I've got my creative writing certificate, a Masters of the Universe poster my brother made when he was taking graphic design. It's in a nice wooden frame. Plus I have a large street sign that says Banff Avenue, which I my sister got me for my birthday. I've got a Godfather poster and a Sopranos poster, both are laminated. lol

I definitely have enough shit to hang on the walls. lol

As for garage sales... some times I curse being a materialistic person, but it's true. lol I'd be a little hesitant to buy pots and pans at a garage sale. I'd probably buy stuff like tables and that, as long as they were in good shape.

two singles (twins) make up a King. In the old days you could shove two twins together and there was a little foam "T" that you could put in between to keep your ass from falling into the crack.

Best of luck man! First time out, buy cheap then upgrade as necessary.

You might also want to think of where you will be doing your clothes and all that. Does the place u going have a laundry or do you want to buy a washing machine, a refrigerator and all that stuff as well.

I will be moving in with my gf next semester. She already moved out and we already got most of the things covered. The thing she is flatting with like 3 of her girl mates from uni so they got everything covered. Pots, pans but we probably will get some of ours anyway coz at the moment we only got a frying pan of our own.

At the moment we got
plates
eating utencils- knives and forks the whole
bed
drawer set, bed side and chest
computer table
laptops of our own
duvets
sheets
pillows
frying pan
washing machine
refridgerator
tv
shelves
bookcase
vaccum
garbage bin
blankets if it gets cold which im sure it wont

I cant think of anything else at the moment if i do i ll post it in here

Well you hit everything I would need except for a corkscrew - there is no easy replacement for one. Oh and Duct Tape. Amazing what you can do with Duct Tape. http://www.stuckatprom.com/contests/prom/
