And now, lying about the size of their crowds..?!?!

that is total bullshit. they easily had close to 23,000. Look at the youtube crowds.

the articles headline that they lied about the crowd. they didn't. their spokesperson said the fire marshall said they reached max capacity, which was 23,000. they cut off the crowd and so her assumption was they reached max capacity. regardless, they got a great turn-out, and now biden is saying they ABSOLUTELY need pennsylvania to win.

there was no official count.

still less than 200 people showed up to protest, or support obama.

No, it doesn't say that they were lying about the crowd, they said they had 23K, and then lied saying that they got the figure from the Fairfax City Fire Mashall...
Article wrote:McCain aide Kimmie Lipscomb told reporters on Sept. 10 that an outdoor rally in Fairfax City, Virginia, drew 23,000 people, attributing the crowd estimate to a fire marshal. Fairfax City Fire Marshal Andrew Wilson said his office did not supply that number to the campaign and could not confirm it. Wilson, in an interview, said the fire department does not monitor attendance at outdoor events.

Washington Post reporter Marc Fisher estimated the crowd to be 8,000, not the 23,000 cited by the campaign.

So, I don't know how we go from "That is total bullshit" to "There was no official count" in the same post without saying that somebody was lying about something...

And whether or not 200 or 200,000 folk showed up at the Obama camp, they didn't say, 'Man, there was 20,000 folk up in that piece..."

Again, c'mon now...Lets call a spade a spade, as they say...

Look what you wrote:
And now, lying about the size of their crowds..?!?!
The original article in Bloomberg was titled "McCain crowd estimates not backed by officials." It never says they lied 'about the size of their crowds'. HOWEVER, most people who copied the article from bloomberg made it much more derogatory to McCain, and said he and his camp were 'lying about the size of their crowds'.
Again, c'mon now...Lets call a spade a spade, as they say...

I never said the article was bullshit. i said "that" is total bullshit. They didn't lie "about the size of their crowds", as you posited. Furthermore, I know only certain papers and sites worded it like that.

but you people only point out the dirt in one person's yard, and that ain't right.

no one gonna do any digging on the golden child... and that is plain idiocy.

Huh..? They said there was 23K people...Lied about the source of the information...And a guy that was there said that it was more like 8K...Did...Did I miss something..?

Another event...A guy got on stage and asked, "Is this what 10,000 people looks like..?" Only thing was that the venue only held about a 1/3 of that...This stuff is just too good to make up..!

Just this morning, John McCain jumped on TV and said the same lie about Obama raising taxes...When the newscaster asked him, 'But independent analysts say that Barak's tax plan will cut taxes for at least 90% of Americans, Do you agree with that..? Nope...He went right into his rehearsed almost mechanical spill which basically said, 'That's my story, and I'm sticking to it..' I don't get it...And then, it gets better....

"MANY AMERICAN'S ARE NOT PAYING TAXES AT ALL..." He said...

Too good to make up...Here's the vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsazrg1gbO0

Whoever is coaching the Repubs on how to spin should get a gold medal...They obviously have a great many people confused about them...

Later in that interview, McCain went into his spill about the exaggerated number of earmarks Obama requested, he didn't mention that his running mate requests and gets more earmarks than every other state...Can't say that I blame him for that though, but when the reporter asked him about Palin and quoted the figures, he said the lie about the Bridge to nowhere AGAIN, and how she cut pork barrel spending...So basically, they slam Barak for doing what his own running mate ($25 million for Coastal Salmon Recovery????) has down to a science..? They lie about things they don't even have to lie about, that don't make no sense...

I wonder if you have to have a special wall socket in your crib to plug up a tanning bed..? Probably got one of those plugs like they have in the utility closet for the dryer...

They had that little incident a few days ago when they were demanding an apology from Barak for calling on insinuating that he was calling the good Governor a pig...Not mentioned that their own candidate had EVER used the term himself...Made up all this hoopla and then, here recently, they asked McCain if that's what he thought, and he said, 'No...' :hypno:

It's easy to point out the dirt in somebody's yard if they're out there yelling, kicking, rolling around, and screaming in it...

CBS News Forces YouTube to Pull McCain ‘Lipstick’ Ad
Rove: McCain went 'too far' in ads

Who, in the history of elections, has had to do that..? Name one candidate...Unprecedented...Pull an ad because it was too dishonest..? Even Carl Rove said, "Damn!!" LoL...

I mean, honestly man...That's OBVIOUSLY a campaign problem when you have to do things like that...

Sarah Palin "Winged" Her Speech Because of "Broken" Teleprompter
Sarah Palin wrote:"In the convention I had you to thank afterwards, because there Ohio was right out in front, in front of me," she said. "And you know, I walked out there on stage and we started the teleprompter going in front of me. Teleprompter got messed up, and I wasn't able to follow it. So, I decided, I'm just going to talk to the people in front me. And it was Ohio."
Umm, yeah...The prompter wasn't broken...

From the McCain Camp:
Tucker Bounds wrote:.........anyone who thinks Palin was implying that her speech was ad-libbed is unfairly reading into her remarks
Sarah Palin wrote:...Teleprompter got messed up
Like I said, they lie about stuff they don't even have to lie about...

Facts to ponder:

President Hopeful: In the Summer of 1958, John McCain graduates fifth from the bottom (894th out of 899) of his Naval Academy class and is commissioned as officer.

VP Hopeful: Sarah Palin seems to have switched colleges at least six times in six years, including two stints at the University of Idaho before graduating from there in 1987 with a degree in Journalism.

Of course, not even that little tidbit is not without some embellishment

According to a biography — "Sarah" by Kaylene Johnson — Palin and three friends went to the University of Hawaii at Hilo after graduation from high school in Alaska in 1982. But they left after a few weeks because of the constant rain there, the book said.

The registrar at Hawaii-Hilo has no record that she ever enrolled, school officials said Thursday.

For dirt dumping and comparison purposes, it seems Barak was only able to muster a Magna Cum Laude from Harvard........

Apparently, the red think we are all dumb asses...See raum, you may think we're dumping dirt, but again, what would you have us make of this stuff..? What am I, as a voter, supposed to think when this stuff comes up REPEATEDLY...This is not one isolated incident...

On the TV show "The View" just the other day, John McCain said that the good Governor didn't request earmarks...
Tucker Bounds wrote:"Sen. McCain was in the throes of a discussion about her record of reforming government, which includes drastic cuts in wasteful spending in the Alaska state budget," said McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds. "If he gave viewers a mistaken impression, it certainly wasn't intentional or without some basis in fact."
That type of behavior is fine if we about to ride to the club or something, but the question I want to ask you is, If this is the type of shit they pull now, what would make me think that another term in office would be any different..? How do you reason that..? What kind of state of mind would I have to be in as a citizen to say, 'Well, its OK that they stretch the truth on a daily basis, when they get to office I'm sure they'll come straight with me..." I'm not mistaken to think that any candidate will, but the Red are VERY bad at smoke and mirrors...How you a politician and bad at bullshitting somebody..?

Ty, without excusing McCain's camp of deciept... or trying to insinuate any one party is more or less corrupt than the other... What examples of deception can you find on the part of Obama's camp?

What examples can you find of a journal, periodical, or blog being pedantic in their claims about a candidate. I assure you, Obama has his share of things to answer for.

If you can't offer these in temperance to one another, it honestly discredits your critique of either opponent, as you admit you don't really follow elections. This is commonplace, politicians over stretching, backsliding, misleading, and running with assumptions is COMMON. To both parties, and all the current politicians promising reforms, but staying pretty middle of the road.

Most of Obama's faux pauxs were mulled over in his run against Hillary. It is old new he is not a new deal. McCain however, is coming under scrutiny now, and for some reason no one seems to be able to possibly believe a politician is acting like a politician. IT's WHAT THEY DO.

Frankly, alot of you are new to politics. You never followed them before the kind of social scene that is here now is. You can't believe a candidate might not use email, not noticing most communication a President sends is in systems you never heard about.

There is alot not in the media. Remember ALL those people get paid to pretend they don't have a motive in getting one candidate elected.

The real question is why I gotta be digging for dirt on Obama..? If it was on TV, I'd be talking about it...Dirt about the McCain camp is on at least 4 different networks...I wake up in the morning, and some newscaster is talking about the latest McCain lie...I'm simply talking about what's on the news and media...Surely we are not suggesting that everyone in the media is against them..? Not suggesting that because one is doing something that the other one must be, are we..? I am certainly not my brother's keeper...

But to answer your question, first things first, you usually catch a politician in a lie about is money...Barak has had a grass roots campaign from day 1, not taking any money...Still raising more money than anyone...On his own personal behalf, he put his and his wife's tax returns online...So much for trying trying to catch him up in a lie about that...More than honest about earmarks, and is a forerunner in promoting transparent gov't...You can't say nothing slick to a can of oil, I've said over and over I know the score w/politicians...He has an agenda I'm sure...Anything that is understood doesn't have to be explained...

My point, again, is that the McCain camp lies about things that they don't even have to lie about...Crowd sizes, earmarks...I mean, WTF man...Thanks to that site you told me about, factcheck.org, I recognized it when I saw one of its spokespersons on the tube this morning breaking down all McCain's mess...The site is full of the little untruth's and contradictions of both parties...The GOP's shit has pushed the rest of the stuff off the page...Lying about the countries they visit...Lying about the amount of energy being exported...Lying about cutting taxes...

If it involves typing and technology, good luck in teaching him how to use it...
